Spinal anaesthesia needle with pencil point (Whitacre type) with transparent hub and stylet.

Ergonomic design of the hub to ensure easy handling and insertion.
The hub of the stylet is fitted with a lug to indicate the position of the distal eye and to easily reposition the stylet within the needle hub in case of necessity. The hub of the stylet is also colour-coded according to the diameter of the needle.

The above-mentioned codes are supplied with an introducer (stainless steel needle with transparent plastic hub): the spinal anaesthesia needle is inserted through this introducer to avoid the kinking of the thin spinal needle.

The pencil point bevel minimises damage to the dura mater, CSF leakage and headaches.
