Mini-set for epidural anesthesia containing:

1 NRFit Tuohy needle 17G - 90mm long with plastic transparent hub and removable wings - Metallic stylet.

The needle has graduations every centimeter. The transparent hub allows to quickly visualize an accidental reflux of blood or of CSF.

1 polyethylene catheter, transparent with radiopaque line, flexible catheter WITH STYLET 90cm long, Int. Ø 0.5mm - Ext. Ø 1.0mm, markings every centimetre from 5 to 20 cm from distal end. The catheter has a closed end and 3 lateral eyes.

The softness of the catheter tubing reduces the risk of dura-mater or vessel perforation.

1 NRFIT connector type "Nexus" with pre-mounted filter 0.2 μm. Filter surface area: 5,25cm², priming volume: 0.3ml, pressure resistance: 5.2 bar.
1 male cap
1 NRFit "low resistance" plastic syringe 10ml,
1 yellow label epidural identification.
