Cold compress for contact cryotherapy.
Cryopad is a dry non-woven textile compress, formed by a juxtaposition of 4cm square compartments. Each compartment contains a small amount of sodium polyacrylate granules. The junction between the compartments is pre-cut for a case-by-case adjustment according to the part of the body to be treated.
Presentation and packaging of references on tray:
Each Cryopad compress is packed in a protective sleeve with a micro-perforated surface on one of its side, so that the compress is permeable to water.
The micro-perforations are small enough (1mm diameter) for the sleeve to protect the compress against most sources of manual contamination during handling and storage. The sleeves containing the compresses are packed in batches of 8 in hermetically sealed trays by a peelable lid.
Cryopad compresses are presented in the form of a rectangle of variable dimensions according to the reference:
Arsine 52 FR : 230 x 96 mm
Arsine 53 FR : 230 x 144 mm
Arsine 55 FR : 240 x 230 mm
Arsine 57 FR : 336 x 230 mm
Reinforced model: 4 layers of non-woven fabric.
Summary principle of use:
The compress is immersed in water for 5 to 10 minutes. It soaks up water. It is then placed in the freezer for at least 3 hours. After freezing, the compress is placed directly on the skin of the area to be treated. It provides up to 3 hours of cryotherapy treatment. The Arsine range of compresses can be reused up to 10 times (see modalities in the "Reuse" section of the operating instructions).
