Spinal Quincke needle with a transparent hub and an obturating stylet.
The non-Luer connector complies to the ISO 80369-6 norm, named NRFit™. The range of devices with a NRFit™ connection has the commercial name Neurafit™. This range features a NRFit™ type connection that complies with the ISO-80369-6 standard. These needles cannot be connected to devices intended for another application.
The stylet hub is colour-coded and corresponds to the external needle diameter.
The needle hub is made with transparent plastic to visualize the cerebrospinal fluid and is ergonomic to ensure an easy handling.
The stylet is tightly adjusted to the bevel of the needle (avoids the risk of coring and tissue damage, reducing the risk of infection). It has a lug to indicate bevel orientation and it can be easily repositioned in the needle if the dura-mater is not punctured.
