Ready Check 2

The Vygon Ready-Set is a range of modular I.V. accessories specially designed for paediatrics and neonates. It allows the practitioner to select the most suitable I.V. administration system, removing the need for additional 3 way taps, ramps and extension lines, therefore reducing the risks associated with multiple connections.

Polyurethane extension tube with additional access port

Lumen 1 (length 17 cm): incorporates a clamp, a 0.22µm, 96 hour bacterial and endotoxin retentive filter and a non-return valve – Flow rate: 6 ml/min. Note: the air-eliminating filter is not suitable for blood, blood products or lipids. 

Lumen 2: needle-free access port (length 4 cm) with Bionector and clamp, located below the non-return valve. 

Ready-Set “Feed” enables the user to infuse via the 96 hour filter and as necessary add supplementary infusions and bolus downstream, e.g. amino-acids and/or lipids or a background infusion and a micro-bolus of antibiotics. 

Priming volume: 0.85 ml – Flow rate: 170 ml/min.

Incorporates 2 non-return valves, 2 clamps and a 0.22µm, 96 hour bacterial and endotoxin retentive filter – Flow rate: 5 ml/min (x 2). Note: the air-eliminating filter is not suitable for blood, blood products or lipids. Ready-Set “Complete” enables the user to run multiple infusions via the 96 hour filter without the need for additional 3 ways taps and connections.

Two identical extension lines (length 8 cm, Ø 1.5 x 2.5 mm) with non-return valves and clamps.

Priming volume: 0.3 ml (x2) -Flow rate: 160 ml/min (x2)

Ready Check 2 has been designed to add versatility to the Ready-Set range. It can be used in conjunction with Ready-Set "Feed", "Complete" or "Unite", thus offering additional access.

Polyurethane Luer-locking "T" piece extension set.

Incorporates a 0.22 µm, 96 hour bacterial and endotoxin retentive filter, a slide clamp and a Bionector. Priming volume: 0.9 ml - Flow rate: 6 ml/min.

This product is mainly aimed at paediatric / neonatal units where connections are made directly to the cannula.

Polyurethane extension tube with 2 access ports and additional access port.

Main tube (length 21 cm) with 2 access points incorporating non-return valves and clamps, a 0.22µm, 96 hour bacterial and endotoxin retentive filter – Flow rate: 5 ml/min (x 2). Note: the air-eliminating filter is not suitable for blood, blood products or lipids. Ready-Set “Complete” enables the user to run multiple infusions via the 96 hour filter without the need for additional 3 ways taps and connections.

Secondary lumen: Needle-free access port (length 4 cm) with Bionector and clamp. This secondary lumen allows supplementary infusions and bolus administrations (e.g. amino-acids, lipids, micro-bolus of antibiotics etc.)

The Ready-Set extension tubes are supplied with labels indicating the day they must be replaced.
