This vented cap fits the 20ml and 60ml Nutrifit (but also Nutrisafe2 VY-P) syringes to enable gravity feeding and protecting the solution of enteral feed from contamination.
This vented cap includes an ENFit/Nutrifit connection (compliant with the ISO standard 80369-3) to enable to push the feed, which is already in the syringe body, with air.
Consequently, accidental misconnections between devices intented for enteral nutrition and devices intented for other indications (venous access, spinal, epidural, vesical, respiratory…) are avoided.
