Multicath 4 + is a polyurethane 4-lumen catheter inserted in the jugular or subclavian vein using the Seldinger technique.

The needle of Multicath 4 + is fitted with a BLS valve (Blood Less System) avoiding the loss of blood during venipuncture and the risk of air embolism. Using the BLS valve implies no change in placement technique for the operator.
